DESIGN OF A TEMPORARY LIFTING DAVIT TO REPLACE A FLARE TIP OFFSHORE

Shell appointed Zenith to design and install a temporary lifting davit, to facilitate the replacement of a 710 kgs flare tip on Shell’s FPSO Curlew located in the North Sea.

The design, supply and installation of the temporary lifting davit was carried out completely in-house. The advantages in choosing this option are:
