Zenith’s Latest FPSO Flare Tip Replacement

Zenith SAS Limited has safely and successfully completed another flare tip replacement on a FPSO off the coast of Africa. The flare tip had a weight of 3633 lbs and the entire replacement took place during a five day shutdown window.

“We handled the complete process in house from the initial Concept Design to On-Site Execution,” commented Darren Smith, Business Development Director.

“This project represents our third such project offshore in Africa. We have carried out numerous FPSO and Offshore Platform flare tip replacements elsewhere in the world, including in the North Sea, South East Asia and the Middle East. This method can also be implemented onshore where crane access proves either too costly or onerous and as a consequence, we have scores of such references throughout Europe, Asia and The Middle East for the world’s leading oil and gas companies.”
