Zenith is pleased to announce that four new apprentices have joined the company after successfully completing a rigorous selection process. Potential candidates were firstly interviewed and then were invited to take part in Zenith’s annual height test held at the National Mining Museum. The museum is based at one of the finest surviving examples of a Victorian colliery in Europe, the Lady Victoria Colliery at Newtongrange, just nine miles south of Edinburgh.
The height test involving climbing steeplejack ladder that were temporarily erected to the full height of circular brick chimney which stands to an overall height of 120 feet.
