Zenith Safely & Successfully Complete a Major Flare Stack Refurbishment

ExxonMobil operate Fife Ethylene Plant at Mossmorran, located on the outskirts of Cowdenbeath, Scotland. After a rigorous tendering process, we were delighted that Zenith SAS Limited was awarded the project to refurbish the elevated flare at the plant.

In the Spring of 2021, Zenith safely carried out a major refurbishment of the 100m high flare stack including replacing the upper 25m of the main riser, installing a noise and vibration reducing flare tip, replacing the guy wires as well as carrying out maintenance throughout the full height of the structure.
