Zenith Completes Another Major Flare Stack Project in Central Asia.
16 Sep 2021
Whether it’s operating offshore in West Africa, the South China Sea, the Middle East and the North Sea or working onshore throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and the Gulf Region, Zenith has an enviable record for safety management, world class engineering and on-site performance. Zenith has just completed a major flare tip replacement project in Central Asia. The contract involved replacing a flare tip on a 171m high modular structure which supports four flare systems. The flare riser sections extend a further 14m beyond the tower to a height of 185m. The flare system is fully demountable and incorporates a main winching system and canting system and associated removable rigging components.
Site Manager John Hunter, together with Zenith’s on-site Team, safely completed the entire project on time. Typically during plant shutdowns, flare tip replacements are on the critical path and therefore excellent planning and oversight are required to successfully carry out demanding tasks of this nature. Once again, we demonstrate our ability to be relied upon by the world’s leading oil and gas companies.
