Zenith Awarded Major Flare Stack Refurbishment Project – Middle East
12 Apr 2021
Zenith SAS Limited has been awarded a major flare stack refurbishment project in The Middle East. Phase one of the project begins in the fourth quarter of 2021 and will progress with a further two phases planned in 2023 and 2025. In addition to an initial structural engineering analysis, the main focus of the project will involve replacing all of the flare tips on the multi-flare demountable derrick structure.
“We first worked on the flare structure in 2014 replacing three of the eight flare tips and we were subsequently awarded the contract to replace a further three tips on the same structure in 2015,” comments Colin McCurdy, Managing Director.
“To have been awarded this contract, worth several million pounds, is a tremendous vote of confidence in Zenithâs ability to safely provide a world-class service involving structural engineering, project management and on-site execution. The fact that we can provide all of these services in-house gives our clients the confidence that no matter how challenging the task, we can provide the solution.”
