We have recently carried out a major refurbishment of a 95m High Steel Chimney in the United Kingdom. The Scope of Works consisted of the following:

Comprehensive Scope of Works

Temporary Works Design & Installation, Including Design and Installation of 3 level Motorised Working Platform Providing 360 Degrees Access Throughout Full Height of the Chimney
Completely Enveloped Working Platform for Containment of Airborne Contaminants & Suitable for All Weather Conditions
All Steelwork – Total Removal, Redesign, Supply and Installation of all Ladders and Gantries Carried Out in Accordance with “The National Structural Steelwork Specification for Building Construction, 6th edition published by the BCSA and SCI”. Also, in Accordance with GENSIP Good Practice Document & Current British Standards
Replacement of All Flange Bolts
Grit Blasting
Welding Repairs
Painting
Replacement of Aircraft Warning Lights
