University of Edinburgh John McIntyre building is located in the west side of the city of Edinburgh. It is sited at the base of one of Edinburgh’s most prominent land marks – ‘Arthur’s Seat’.  It houses the main catering facilities to provide meals to over 1000 students and has 4 conference rooms.

In October 2013, Zenith SAS was successful in securing a contract to provide temporary access and containment systems to the existing roof structure.

It was a requirement of the contract to design a system to enable 1500 square metres of roof covering to be replaced inside a fully contained environment.  In addition, provision was required in the temporary roofing system to have access sections to enable the removal of air handling units at a later date.
