Congratulations Goes to Zenith’s Apprentices!

The 2022 ‘Steeplejack and Lightning Protection Training Group’ apprenticeship awards ceremony was held at Eastwood Hall in Nottingham on 19 May 2022.

We are delighted to announce that four of the eight apprentices who qualified are employed by Zenith, namely, Robbie Calder, Lewis Revill, Jack Clouston and Lewis Thomson. In fact, two of Zenith’s apprentices, Robbie Calder and Lewis Revill, took first and second place respectively.

Colin McCurdy, Managing Director, commented, “We are extremely proud of this achievement and our congratulations go to all of Zenith’s apprentices for their hard work, dedication and commitment to safety and excellence in our highly skilled industry. The Zenith Group is committed to training young people and our apprentices have certainly excelled in what they have all accomplished.”

Apprenticeships within the steeplejack industry are sponsored by employers and take place over two years at the National Construction College – East (NCC) at Bircham Newton and on-site with employers. Apprentices attend college for up to four weeks at a time and work towards S/NVQ Level 2 in Steeplejacking.
