National Steeplejack Apprentice Award

Darren Grimley has been employed by Zenith SAS Limited during the past four years. As an apprentice steeplejack, he has worked in some of the most remote parts of globe. At the recent CSCS dinner, Darren was presented with the 'Walter Bacon Merit for Steeplejack Laddering'. James Simpson, Health & Safety Director, commented, "our committment to the future of the industry is to identify and train suitable young people to take Zenith to the next level. We look for individuals who are capable of working safely in one of the most demanding environments. Zenith SAS Limited has successfully completed a $900,000 FRP repair on a 200m High Reinforced Concrete Chimney. The windhsield directly below the termination point both internally and externally on the stack was found to be in a very poor condition.
