Conservation & restoration

The ability to undertake repairs to historic buildings calls for a sympathetic approach if the integrity of the original stonework is to be preserved. Based on the outskirts of Edinburgh – itself a world heritage site – we have played a key role in maintaining the city’s architectural heritage, undertaking complex repairs to a world renowned skyline dominated by Georgian and Victorian architecture. Of course, our project experience extends beyond Edinburgh and our reputation in the field of restoration has resulted in commissions across the United Kingdom. The combination of specialist access techniques and core competencies, such as intricate stone carving, offers our clients a complete single source that addresses both the practical and aesthetic aspects of conservation work. We remain committed to preserving the country’s architectural heritage and helping to prolong the life of many of our much loved landmarks.
